Ko Rattanakosin

Coming to Bangkok and missing out on Ko Rattanakosin is like visiting India and missing out on Purani Delhi. This place speaks of the history of Bangkok. Grand Palace

Wat Po

Wat Po is located just behind the opulent emerald Buddha temple . Wat Po is famous for the reclining Buddha statue. This temple is older than the origin of Bangkok itself. The most convenient way to reach Wat Po is by boat and then a walk through the market. The entrance fee for Wat Po is of 100 Baht. Here, you can go for a foot massage as well ranging from 250-400 Baht as per the duration. While visiting Wat pro you can visit Wat Arun, Wat Ratchabophit & Siam Discovery Museum as well.

Khao San Road

The Royal Elephant Museum

Elephants are considered important in the history of Thai people. This museum will make you take a swift walk through that. The museum is open to the public every day from 9:30am - 4:00pm. You will get the entry free here on showing the ticket of ‘The Great Palace’ (or 100 THB when purchased separately).

Jim Thompson House

It is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Thailand. Jim Thompson is a complex of numerous old Thai structures that the American businessman named Jim Thompson collected from all parts of Thailand in the 1950s and 1960s. You can reach Jim Thompson House by Subway by taking exit 1 of National Stadium exit or by klorng boat to Sapan Hua Chang Pier. It’s open from 9am to 6pm and the price of tickets ranges from 100 THB – 150 THB respectively.

Safari World Zoo

Safari World is a sight-seeing in Bangkok that consists of two parks- Marine Park and Safari Park. The Safari Park is open from 9 am to 5 pm & Marine Park is open from 9 am to 6 pm. You can buy the combined ticket of both the parks priced 900 TBH & 550 TBH for adults & children respectively.

Bangkok National Museum

It is one of the largest museumS in Southeast Asia featuring exhibits of Thai art and history. You can reach here by taking a ferry to Chang Pier, Maharaj Pier, Phra Chan Tai Pier.The museum is open from Wednesday to Sunday (9am-4pm) and the admission ticket will cost you around 200TBH.

Victoria Monument

More than just the transport hub, this place is perfect to have a sneak peek into the daily lives of Bangkokians. Venture down to Rangnam where you will find Thai hipsters and the odd travelers unwind at funky pubs after a steamy day. How to get around in Bangkok

Underground (MRT) rail systems & Skytrain (BTS) connects all the main shopping destinations, entertainment hubs and business areas of the cities. River taxis and express boats can also be used to explore historic sites and riverside attractions. Taxis are also a cheap option to travel around Bangkok . Tuk-tuks were once a big Bangkok attraction, are slowly disappearing from Bangkok but they are worth a ride.
